Special Fertilizer
After much research by
the Oregon Department of Agriculture into what was needed to grow the
best possible Rhododendrons, this fertilizer was developed. We have
found this complete fertilizer to also work well for most other garden
plants!
Total Nitrogen 20%
24% of Nitrogen is water insoluble
Phosphate 12%
Available Potash 8%
Available Sulfur 8%
In the form of Sulfate salts,
Micronutrients expressed as elemental:
Boron 0.02%
Copper 0.087%
Iron 0.69%
Magnesium 0.99%
Molybdenum 0.016%
Zinc 0.056%
Calcium 0.01

Rhododendrons and other —
Apply 1 Tbs for a plant up to 24", 2 Tbs for a plant to 3’. Spread
fertilizer over the entire root surface. The amount to use varies with
individual varieties, but this is a good starting point.
Apply in early spring (Feb -
Mar.), then early summer (June - July), then again. if needed, in winter
(Dec. - Jan.)
